Location

The Greendale Church (formerly Greendale Methodist Church) was built in the late 1950s. It is situated about 40 minutes' drive from Christchurch, about 1 kilometre along the Bealey Road - turn left at Greendale signpost about 16 kilometres from the Aylesbury Corner on the Main West Coast.

The church is set in a grassed area, sheltered by trees. It seats up to about 80 people, and so is a lovely boutique wedding location.

Nearby is the Greendale Community Hall which has recently been extensively refurbished and now has modern kitchen facilities. It is an ideal venue for a wedding reception, with plenty of off-street parking.
